That is the same tech found on the MacBook, but that laptop has only one USB-C port. Apple controversially dispensed with most ports found on its predecessor - MagSafe, Thunderbolt, USB 3.0, HDMI, SDXC - and replaced them with four USB-C ports. The laptop’s look and feel overall is classic Apple (in other words, great). Its styling is similar to that of the MacBook (only larger) with an Apple logo on the lid that doesn’t light up. It comes in Space Gray, which I love, along with standard silver. It is roughly on par with the Air, but without that model’s distinctively wedged shape.

I love the Touch Bar after using it on a notebook on loan from Apple, but isn’t for everybody. You can save some money by going for an entry-level MacBook Pro without a Touch Bar (it has regular function keys). The revised MacBook Pro comes with and without a touch-sensitive control strip dubbed the Touch Bar, which is positioned where physical function keys usually are.
